Rock newcomers WITTERQUICK are back with their brand new, feel-good single “Bubblegum”, just in time for summer.
Vocalist Will Alford comments: “There’s a lot of darkness in the world nowadays, you can’t even scroll through your phone without being drawn into it in some way. So we wanted to do something bright, something fun, and something that for us was a little bit different. That’s what Bubblegum is all about, it’s about feeling good, even in the darkest of times. Putting your headphones on, and for those 3 minutes it’s about letting go, being uplifted, facing that darkness head on and giving it the big f**k you, and if we can bring a little happiness and a smile along the way then that’s our job done!”

Witterquick are holding their title as one of the UK’s hottest new bands following the popular release of EPs ‘Beneath the Spinning Lights’ and ‘Fire and Ice’, a sold out UK tour with fellow rockers Nothing But Thieves, and gaining iTunes chart recognition (alt chart #9, album chart #35), TV, and major radio play, and over 380,000 on Spotify. Their sound combines the intensity of punk-rock and the feel of the 70’s and 80’s stadium greats, with pop melodies. Catch Witterquick on tour this August:
09.08 London, Hope and Anchor
10.08 Manchester, Aatma
11.08 Birmingham, Asylum 2
12.08 Exeter, Cavern
