New Years Day’s breakthrough album Unbreakable, the follow up to the Billboard Top 50 charting LP Malevolence, debuts on the following charts: #3 on Current Hard Music Albums, #16 on Current Rock Albums, #29 on Current Digital Albums, #52 on Top Current Albums and #61 on Billboard Top Albums. Unbreakable features the Top 20 hit “Shut Up” (1.26 million streams), “Skeletons” (3.7 million streams) and “Come For Me” (1 million streams). In its first week, Unbreakable sold over 2,500 units and was streamed over 850,000 times.

Last week, New Years Day partnered with YouTube on the worldwide premiere of their music video for “Shut Up”. The video surpassed 230,000 views and is holding the #1 slot on VEVO’s Rugged Rock playlist. The video, directed by Galileo Mondol for Raging Nation Films is New Years Day’s reimagining of the Christian Bale cult classic American Psycho. The video guest stars Sirius XM’s Jose Mangin and is choreographed by Ana Quintero. Fans can watch the video HERE.

Unbreakable, produced by Mitchell Marlow (All That Remains, In This Moment) and Scott Stevens (Halestorm, Shinedown, American Authors), is out now via RED MUSIC, fans can purchase/stream the album HERE.

New Years Day is currently touring with Falling In Reverse. Following their tour with Falling In Reverse, the band will hit the road for their Unbreakable 2019 headline tour. They will be joined by special guests Diamante and Savage After Midnight for the U.S. tour. Formed in Orange County, Calif. by Ashley Costello, New Years Day shook the scene with their Century Media debut, Victim to Villain, in 2013 featuring their breakout single “Angel Eyes.” The five-piece later cemented their place in the heavy music landscape with their Epidemic EP and critically-acclaimed Malevolence full-length in 2015, clocking more than 20 million views on YouTube. The band has since become the most visually-captivating group in modern rock, playing for millions of fans around the world, sharing the stage with Ozzy Osbourne, Halestorm, Nine Inch Nails, Escape The Fate, Hellyeah and Five Finger Death Punch while also headlining the longest-running touring festival, Vans Warped Tour, in 2017. As new challenges and new worlds beckon, the band released their most recent EP, Diary of a Creep, in January to pay tribute to the artists who shaped them thus far. The EP featured renditions of Garbage’s “Only Happy When It Rains,” New Order’s “Bizarre Love Triangle,” No Doubt’s “Don’t Speak” and their original track “Disgust Me”.
