Fei Comodo

Essex. Famous for white stilettos, whiter hair and before long titanic screamo 5-piece Fei Comodo. Having self released an EP to critical acclaim from both media and fans alike August 4th will see the band’s first ‘official’ release in the form of colossal debut single ‘Break The Ice’.

Having spent the best part of 12 months gigging solidly up and down the UK alongside acts such as Parkway Drive, Enter Shikari, Devil Sold His Soul, Fightstar and InMe, Break The Ice has become a firm fans favourite with it’s soaring chorus, thumping bass line, and thundering guitar work. The song perfectly showcases the bands hook-laden blend of rock, metal and punk - which is no surprise when the band cites the likes of Thrice, Iron Maiden, Coheed & Cambria and 36 Crazyfists as their main influences.

A brief 5 month rewind sees Fei Comodo ending 2007 as runners up of the UKs ‘Best Unsigned Band’ in both Kerrang! and Rock Sound, being championed by Bruce Dickinson, and securing a play listed video (for a demo no less) on the likes of MTV2, Kerrang TV and Scuzz.

Commencing 2008 in a similar fashion the single precedes a tour with fast rising US metalcore crew August Burns Red.

Break The Ice will be released via limited CD and digital download and will be followed by an eight track mini album on September 1st, further major support tours and UK headline shows will be announced soon.
