Cambridge four piece TOM LUMLEY & THE BRAVE LIAISON have just dropped their new single “Comedown”, which premiered on BBC Introducing Cambridge on Saturday.

“Comedown is about the eventual and inevitable mental state of feeling lost and drained after forcing yourself into being something you’re not in order to “fit in” and please other people”. Explains Tom. “It’s the snap back to your own reality of who you are and what you want to do because the person you’ve been trying to be is draining you and not bringing you fulfilment.”

Having spent most of this month on the road, TOM LUMLEY & THE BRAVE LIAISON are quickly earning themselves a reputation for being a “must see” band who are known for taking to the stage with monumental energy that’s felt from the front row to the back of the room.

The band were tipped on Huw Stephens’ BBC Radio 1 show as ‘Ones To Watch 2020’, with their debut album ‘Everything’s Affected’ placed at #9 in the Official Rock & Metal Album Chart, #22 in the Official Independent Album Chart and #66 in the Official Album Sales Chart. Their anthemic sound has gained them a huge array of radio support at home and internationally, with the band being chosen to record a live session at the prestigious Maida Vale Studios for BBC Introducing & Radio 1.

They’ve supported some of the UK’s hottest acts which include The Hunna and Sam Fender, and have played some of the most prestigious festivals in the country including Isle Of Wight, Bestival, Camden Rocks and Truck Festival.

With sold out tour dates up and down the country, including their debut London headline show and their biggest hometown show to date at Cambridge’s J2, it’s no surprise TOM LUMLEY & THE BRAVE LIAISON have been tipped by Radio 1, BBC Introducing and This Feeling for big things.
