London based duo CRASHFACE have dropped a video for their brand new single “Molotov Smile”, which premiered on Daniel P. Carter’s BBC Radio One Rock Show last week.

Directed and edited by frontman Charlie Hinton, the video for “Molotov Smile” sees 90’s inspired lighting mixed with claustrophobic camera angles and visual effects, matching the electric nature of the track which is amplified further by the band’s slamming performance. Shot completely DIY in the band’s flat in East London, CRASHFACE transformed their front room into a sickly orange set reminiscent of Green Day’s paranoia soaked “Basket Case” video.

“Obviously releasing music is weird for every artist right now, but we’ve managed to write so much over the past year we’re just super eager to give people what we can to get through the tough times,” says Charlie. “As we can’t be screaming at you in sweaty venues just yet, the visual aspect of these songs has been of even more importance, so it needs to be as just as mental as the tracks themselves.”

The band expect to announce some more new music in the near future.
